The Red Feather Ball

Supporting the Red Feather Ball — a beloved Santa Barbara fundraiser benefiting United Way’s educational programs — called for a menu that balanced refinement, seasonality, and thoughtful inclusivity. Guests enjoyed elevated hors d’oeuvres ranging from Beef Wellington bites and Dungeness crab cakes to vibrant plant-forward selections, followed by a seated dinner featuring slow-braised beef short ribs alongside a fully realized vegan wild mushroom risotto. A curated dessert presentation, including tartlets, French macarons, and vegan sweets, completed the evening. Contributing to an event that has helped provide educational resources to thousands of local children made the experience both memorable and deeply meaningful.
